Community Theater is organized to highlight the social issues in the region

  • WHY WAS A SCHOOL STARTED? There were no quality schools in this area before HDF. Most parents could not afford the high cost of commercial schools, especially for girls’ education. HDF was asked to build a school for this community to fulfill the need for quality education.

  • WHAT IS THE LITERACY RATE FOR THE SURROUNDING AREA?
  • Currently the Literacy rate for ages 5-24 in this area is 65%. Above the age of 24 is 36%

  • WHAT ARE THE CHALLENGES THIS AREA FACES IN EDUCATION?
  • Finding quality teachers in Zhob is a challenge, and outsiders are reluctant to come to Zhob for employment due to the general security situation.

    The Zhob Region conducted District Development Meetings on health and education issues like blood donation and anti-drug use.
