Inauguration of Eye Care Center in Islamabad Region

HDF Pakistan has made yet another achievement in the health domain by creating an Eye Center in Islamabad named Community Vision Centre established in partnership with Pakistan Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences (PIRS). The center was jointly inaugurated on June 3rd, 2016, by the Executive Director of PIRS, Major General (R) Dr. Farrukh Seir and Chief Executive Officer of HDF, Mr. Azhar Saleem, and Chairman Union Council Mr. Raja Zahid.

HDF intends to help improve eye health issues as well as create awareness among people regarding vision care, provide advice as well as required treatment with the necessary equipment and efficient expertise. The Community Vision Centre will also provide the facilities of free eye tests and medicines as well as glasses to the patients on subsidized prices. Arrangement for referral to PIRS Hospital will also be made available.
