SISTER CITIES

Holzgerlingen became Crystal Lake’s Sister City on September 30, 1996. Groups of citizens in both communities hold a variety of activities, including exchange visits by high school students and performing arts groups. Crystal Lake area residents are encouraged to participate in the Sister cities program. The committee welcomes new members to its meetings, held on the first Monday of each month at 4:00 p.m. at various restaurant locations in Crystal Lake.
