Rich Publicity was founded by Richard Rostron in 2008 after close to 20 years in journalism. As a journalist, Rostron wrote freelance and on-staff for publications including:

• The Chicago Tribune
• The Daily Herald
• The Woodstock Independent
• Numerous Periodicals, including Easyriders

Rostron also served as a Sports Editor, Journalism Instructor and Adviser to a Student Newspaper. He has won numerous journalism and writing awards from the Illinois Press Association, Northern Illinois Newspaper Association and more.

He founded Rich Publicity as a service providing press releases to the media. As an editor, he saw how poorly written most press releases were and how seldom there was any follow through. In this regard, the company was successful in spite of the diminishing viability of the media.

Rostron quickly recognized the value of providing content-driven marketing for online purposes. He has written hundreds of Web pages and thousands of blogs. He has written hundreds of newsletters and eblasts, as well as flyers, pamphlets and other marketing material.

While publishing his own novel, Rostron has also proved an exceptional source for people who need help writing their book, or who want a professional to write their book from start to finish. He is adept at self-publishing and promoting books, whether novels, manuals or other content. He has written ebooks, such as a 70-page book on how to choose a senior home for your parents and a 75-page book on how to start an ATM business.
