Ads


If you need or wish to create an ad revenue stream for your site, this module makes it easy to enter and maintain their display. You will need to ask us to place the ad modules into your site template, though.

Ads are displayed, within their active (start / end) dates, and in a random display order on each page load for fair exposure.


An ad record consists of the following:

Customer name - Required, but this is for your reference. Pick a name so that you can readily recognize the ad or its' purpose in the your list of ads.

Contact Info - Optional. Not displayed anywhere. This area is for you to record any notes you wish for the advertisement.

Start & End Dates - The date range in which the ad will be displayed.

Destination (URL) - The URL destination. This must be fully qualified path ( http://... )

Image and / or Ad Text - An ad can consist of a small graphic, simply text, or both.


Page Sponsor Ads - These ads are set up the very same way, but are tagged for display on specific page(s) in your site. If a page in your site is associated with a sponsor, that sponsors' ad will be the one displayed. If more than one ad is tagged to a page, display order will be randomized on each viewing of the page.
